Corby Town v Cleethorpes Town, Saturday 18th November, 3pm Kick-Off
This weekend, Corby face another top of the table clash, with promotion rivals Cleethorpes Town coming to Steel Park.
The Owls currently sit in 3rd place, 3 places and 2 points ahead of the hosts, although they have 3 games in hand.
This is due to the progress of the visitors in cup competitions this season. A fine 2-1 victory over Premier Division Hednesford will give them plenty of confidence heading into the weekend, along with wins against higher ranked Buxton in the previous round, and high flying Premier Division side Shaw Lane in the league cup.
Due to cup commitments, the Owls have only played 5 league games in the last 7 weeks, with a return of 3 draws and 2 defeats. Their last league win came on Saturday 23rd September with a 6-0 thrashing of Romulus.
Over the same period, the Steelmen have had 7 league games, and put together a 6 game winning run in the league which was brought to an abrupt end last weekend at Frickley.
Don't forget that we will have a bucket collection this weekend to raise money to purchase a wheelchair for Hope. Please give what you can to help make her Christmas one to remember.
