“'It's not about the money money money'”
Beeson formerly played for the Steelmen in the 2011/2012 season under Graham Drury, and has been a very popular player over the years.
Lee left Corby to sign for Worksop, and then on to Stamford, before big spending Spalding United paid a transfer fee for him to help push for the UCL title.
Beeson then enjoyed spells at Holbeach, Grantham, Stamford, and then back to Spalding, where he has been playing this season. He was part of the same team as captain Kern Miller, and despite the tulips signing some quality players on big wages, they fell at the final hurdle in the play-off final at another one of last season big spenders, Witton Albion.
We are delighted that the winger, who is just as capable of playing in the centre of midfield, has realised how ambitious the club is and decided to make the move to Corby.
Beeson could be in contention to make his 2nd steelmen debut on Saturday in the home game with Sheffield FC.
