Corby Town have offered Paul Caswell a chance to earn himself a deal at the club over pre-season.
Former Portsmouth trialist Caswell has previously featured for the Steelmen, under Kevin Wilson, and put in a man of the match performance during his debut in an away victory against Kings Lynn at the Walks back in 2007.
Paul is a product of the Corby Town youth set-up and following a sucessful spell at The Rockingham Triangle with the Steelboys he has spent the past four seasons playing in the United Counties League with S&L, Desborough and Irchester Town.
Manager Graham Drury told corbytownfc.co.uk; "We have offered Paul Caswell a chance again to play for his hometown club and he seems very keen. He has already hit the gym in an attempt to get himself fit and give himself the best opportunity once pre-season begins.
"I really hope he keeps it up as he is a very exciting young prospect and it would be great to work with him, and have another Corby lad playing for us."
Corby Town have received a positive response from applicants to the role of first-team manager.
