Corby Town Football Club will be hosting an exercise programme specifically developed for men in later life, in partnership with Age UK Northamptonshire and the Steelmen.
Age UK Northamptonshire is a local, independent charity which depends on donations and income from services. All of the income we raise in this way is used exclusively to provide services to people in later life in Northamptonshire.
“The programme is designed to get over 50’s physically active and participating in sport and exercise with a view to forming a team. We are delighted to be involved in playing our part at the football club,” explained Acting Chairman David Mallinger.
The free eight week course starts on Wednesday 6th July from 4pm to 6pm and is being funded by the ‘Fit As A Fiddle’ project through The Big Lottery.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the men in the area to access facilities, equipment and professionals that would not normally be available to them. For more information or to book a place please contact Liz at Age UK Northamptonshire on 01536 262777.
