The deadline for Corby’s annual Sports Awards is fast approaching.
Voting for the awards, run by Corby Borough Council, closes at midday next Wednesday.
The honours recognise those who deserve commendation for their sporting talent and contribution towards putting Corby on the sporting map.
Corby Council’s lead member for community, Cllr John McGhee, told Corby Evening Telegraph: “The Sports Awards are something that is close to Corby’s heart as over the years we have become a town with a lot of sporting talent and fantastic facilities for these people to stride in what they are so good at.”
The authority is particularly seeking nominees for the long time contribution to sport category. To vote visit the culture and leisure page of www.corby.gov.uk.
