Corby Town Manager Graham Drury has revealed that negotiations with transfer targets are progressing well and he's close to announcing his first set of new signings for the forthcoming season in the new stadium.

Drury told www.corbytownfc.co.uk: “Things are progressing well and I hope we'll soon be able to make a further announcement. I'm excited and I think the fans will be too. There are some new faces and some more familiar ones but they are players who want to be here and I'm looking forward to the challenge of blending a side together.

“The signs are very positive and they are players I can't wait to work with. I would hope we'll soon be able to tell supporters the names of the first few once all the paperwork has been sorted.”

Details of the Steelmen's first signings will be announced on www.corbytownfc.co.uk as soon as the official confirmation of their registration has been received.
