Corby Town eased into the next round of the FA Youth Cup with an impressive 8-3 win against Bedford Town at Steel Park.
The Steelboys took an early lead through Morgan (6), however found themselves behind at the break as the young Eagles netted through Larrier (15) and Gillies (35).
Mark Peters' half time team talk had the desired affect, as his charges came out of the blocks quicker in the second half. Just 6 minutes after the restart Fairlamb netted his first of the night (51) to equalise.
The comeback was completed four minutes later as Watkins (55) gave the Steelboys the lead. That lead was extended to 4-2 on the hour mark as Harrison became Corby's fourth scorer of the night (60).
Corby Town were clearly enjoying the match and thriving on the pressure of playing in the FA Youth Cup in front of 93 at Steel Park, as they scored a fifth via Fairlamb (70) and a sixth through Leneghan (75). Roach then made it a magnificent seven (78), much to the delight of the Corby faithful.
Pinny did manage to pull back a consolation goal for the visitors (85), however the impressive Fairlamb completed his hat-trick on 88 minutes to seal a fine victory for Mark Peters and ensure Corby Town another home tie in the next round of the competition against either Redbridge or FC Clacton, who meet on Thursday evening.
The 3rd Qualifying round match at Steel Park will be played on Monday 17th October.
Don't forget that Corby Town's senior side are also in FA Cup action this week, with Graham Drury eager for his team to follow in the footsteps of the club's youngsters on Wednesday evening.
