The players, management and board members of Corby Town have kindly agreed to pay for the running of the Steelmen Travel Club's coach to Redditch United on Bank Holiday Monday, as a thank you to the club's fans for their loyalty and great support throughout the 2010/11 season.
The current playing squad and management have donated some of their wages to pay for the coach, along with chairman David Mallinger.
Monday's trip to The Valley Stadium is the final away fixture of the campaign, which has seen some memorable away days including the victory at Nuneaton Town and the FA Cup 1st Round Replay against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.
The coach will depart Weatherspoons in Corby at 11.45am, with all fans travelling encouraged to wear fancy dress. Those who are not in fancy dress will be asked to donate £1 to the Steelmen Travel Club.
Corby Town fan Robbie Dunion said: "It is a great gesture from the club to pay for this coach, many supporters spend hundreds of pounds following the club across the country in rain or shine, so it is brilliant that they are looking to give something back.
"The Steelmen Travel Club has run coaches to most matches this season and again it is nice that the club recognises the good work that they do to ensure that the lads are well supported at every stadium."
To book your seat on the coach contact the Steelmen Travel Club on 07850474215. You must book prior to the trip and seats will be on a first come, first served basis.
Corby Town have received a positive response from applicants to the role of first-team manager.
