Corby Town have appointed Martin Harris to the club's board of directors.
Martin, 34, joined the club as general manager in July, taking on some of the responsibility for the day-to-day running of the club, a role he combines with that at the FootballCV Academy where he is Academy Manager.
Vastly experienced at all levels of club football, Martin spent 12 seasons at Kettering Town, initially as a coach, and worked with the under-10 age group all the way through to the first-team in a variety of roles. As well as his experience with the Poppies and FootballCV Martin has spent time coaching in Chicago, Detriot, Indianapolis and Milwaukee.
Acting Chairman David Mallinger commented: "We are pleased that Martin has accepted our invitation to join the board.
"He has performed a very important and often thankless task since he joined the club in the summer and added another dimension to the professional way we conduct ourselves as a football club.
"The amount of experience Martin has crammed in a short space of time is impressive and the knowledge he has gained in doing so has already proved invaluable for the club.
"He has a big part to play in the future of this football club and I know I speak for all of my fellow directors when I say we're delighted to have him on-board and we all look forward to working closely with him in the future."
Harris added: "Being offered a place on the board at Corby Town is a great honour and brings about an exciting new challenge personally. I am very grateful to the Chairman David Mallinger and the board for giving me this opportunity.
"The hard work and sacrifice which has been put into the club by the board, staff, players and volunteers, especially over the past few years, has seen major development both on and off the pitch.
"To be given the chance to help further shape and be part of Corby Town's future is something I look forward. There is obviously a lot more hard work to be done and with further support from our fans, the club will continue to progress."
Corby Town have received a positive response from applicants to the role of first-team manager.
