Corby Town striker Matt Rhead has been nominated for the FA Cup with Budweiser Player of the Round, for his fine performance against Hednesford Town last weekend.
In their first season as sponsors of The FA Cup, now ‘The FA Cup with Budweiser’, Budweiser are giving fans an opportunity to vote for their favourite player from each round of the world-famous competition, now in its 131st season.
Five players will be nominated after each round has been completed, all the way to The Semi-Finals next April, and the one receiving the most votes from fans will be crowned ‘Budweiser Player of the Round’ and receive a commemorative trophy to mark the achievement.
All the award winners will also be invited to next May’s FA Cup Final at iconic Wembley as guests of The FA and Budweiser.
The following five players made their mark on the Third Round Qualifying with outstanding performances. Simply make your choice in the poll at the bottom of the page.
Voting closes 12 noon on Tuesday 25 October.
