Corby Town have launched their new online club shop within the official website, www.corbytownfc.co.uk.
The Steelmen's home shirt is already proving to be one of the most popular Corby Town kits of all time and now supporters are able to purchase from the full range of Joma club merchandise, 24 hours a day.
Supporters who aren't in a position to get to Steel Park can now buy everything from the new home kit and a range of training wear to kit bags and beanie hats, and have the goods delivered direct to their door.
The new online shop has been developed between the club's media partners Final Third Sports Media and Capture Sport with the primary objective that it forms part of the official website; as apposed to a standalone shopping site that so many other clubs choose to make their supporters use.
At present only people based in the UK can purchase from the store but goods will soon be available to buy for the rest of the world. In the meantime anyone looking to purchase from overseas is asked to email shop@corbytownfc.co.uk with details of the goods (and sizes) they require.
The shop will be developed over the course of the season and as the range of available goods expands to include new clothing products and gifts, they too will be added to the online shop.
"There has been a lot of demand from supporters to get an online shop up and running on the back of the successful kit launch so we're pleased it is now live,” Director Chris Rivett commented.
"The new home strip continues to prove popular and there is increasing interest in the range of Joma leisurewear too. It's great to walk around the town centre and see supporters wearing the new kit and we're pleased that we're now going to be able to assist fans from all around the country to get their hands on it with relative ease.
"There has been a lot of hard work behind the scenes to get to this point and we're very grateful for the support of the team at Capture Sport to get the site up and running, particularly Paul Coverdale, who has worked all hours to fine tune it to our demands.
"There will be further improvements in the coming days, with the ability for supporters to purchase goods for collection from the club shop and for those overseas to buy online too.
"The online shop is another example of the desire the board has to be as professional in everything we do as we can, within the budget constraints we have to work too. We are sure supporters will find the service convenient and easy to use."
Corby Town have received a positive response from applicants to the role of first-team manager.
