Corby Town have regrettably had to part company with striker Nick Rogan and midfielder Andy Burgess.
The experienced pair are both based in the north-west of the country and travel down for training and matches every week however recent commitments have restricted their availability to attend training sessions.
Manager Graham Drury explained: "It is with great regret we've let Nick and Andy leave the club however they have both found it increasingly harder to attend training recently due to university and work commitments respectively. Given their commitment to the dressing room they felt that this was unfair on their team-mates.
"Both Andy and Nick joined on non-contract terms because I wanted to give them the freedom to move on to more local clubs if the travelling did cause them problems. It is a shame it has come to this but we're not going to stand in their way.
"They are both smashing lads and I couldn't ask anything more of them when they on the pitch or the training ground.
"I would like to place on record my appreciation of the contribution they have both made, on and off the field. Both players are a credit to football with the way they support their team-mates, whether they are playing or on the sidelines. Some players will have a moan or a sulk if they are on the bench or if they are missing games through injury, but I have only ever heard them encourage their team-mates, whatever the circumstances.
“They are good lads and I don't think they will be without a club for very long so I wish them all the best and they know they'll always be welcome at Steel Park any time they want."
