Corby Town have produced a special souvenir match programme that will go on sale tonight to mark the opening of the very soon to be named stadium.
The 64-page special edition will cover all three home pre-season matches and will cost £3. It is packed full of new features, as well as the old favourites, that will form part of the regular 32-page programme (£2) that will be published for league matches.
Director Chris Rivett has won several awards with his company Final Third Sports Media for match programmes in the last ten years and they have been working hard over the close season with new designer Paul O'Connor and a dedicated team of volunteer contributors including Robbie Dunion, Clive Smith, David Tilley and Kelly Cornwell to come up with a new look for the new season.
Rivett explained: "After spending the early part of our involvement with the club developing a range of new online initiatives we've now turned out attentions to the match programme. We're hoping we can really move it on this season in terms of the design, print quality and content and I hope supporters who purchase a copy tonight will see the direction we're looking to take.
"There is still a lot to do but everyone who has contributed to the souvenir edition should be proud of what has been achieved in a short space of time. Pre-season is an important time to fine tune things on and off the pitch and we hope by the time the first league game comes around, supporters will get an idea of the standard we're looking to achieve over the course of the campaign.
"We'd love to hear any feedback, good or bad, so please drop your thoughts through to programme@corbytownfc.co.uk."
