For the Steelmen fans making the trip to Coalville Town's Owen Street, Graham Drury's side will have an unfamililiar look to it following a busy summer in the transfer market for the manager.
The former Stamford boss has wasted no time in bringing in fresh blood, following a poor end to the last campaign, and a number of those additions are expected to feature at some point tonight, including; Leon Hibbert, Matt Rhead, Andy Hall and Courtney Herbert.
Drury is also set to run the rule over a number of trialists who are looking to earn themselves a deal with the Northamptonshire club over the coming weeks.
Adam Stevens' men will play in the Evo Stick league next season, after winning the Midlands Football Alliance last term, and the Ravens are sure to be a stern test for Drury's men.
Corby boss Graham Drury was impressed by the Ravens last season and fully expects a stern away test for the Steelmen.
He said: “Winning the league by a record amount of points is no mean feat in any standard of football. Reaching and winning the FA Vase final was equally as impressive, especially the manner that they did it in. It’ll be a nice test for the lads, with it being the first game of the pre-season.”
Corby Town have received a positive response from applicants to the role of first-team manager.
