The Steelmen head to Cheltenham's Abbey Business Stadium this evening to face Gloucester City in the Blue Square Bet North.
Corby Town manager Graham Drury will be looking for a huge improvement from Saturday's draw at Workington, which he described as his side's "worst performance of the season".
Gloucester City head into the fixture on the back of a four-match winless streak. The Tigers' last victory was against Hinckley United back in August. Dave Mehew's men currently sit 11th in the league table, just 3 points behind Corby.
The hosts will be looking to in-form striker Darren Edwards to fire their way to their first home win of the month. Edwards is a prolific goal scorer, who has already netted 5 goals this campaign. He joined Gloucester in December 2010, scoring 15 goals by the end of the season, including a brace against the Steelmen. Edwards has an impressive record, having previously scored regularly for Mangotsfield United, Yate Town and Tiverton. His goals also helped Bath City to two promotions in three seasons.
Corby Town won the corresponding fixture last season, as goals from Ben Mackey and Steve Diggin ensured a 2-0 victory. The Tigers beat Drury's men 2-0 in March however, as Edwards netted twice at the Rockingham Triangle Stadium.
The Steelmen have a fine recent record away to Gloucester – it is something of a standing joke that Corby always win this fixture and the Tigers always win at Corby.
Corby Town have received a positive response from applicants to the role of first-team manager.
