Goals from Paul Malone and Troy Johnson were not enough to secure a win for the Steelmen against the Blue Square Bet North's bottom side Redditch United at The Valley Stadium, in an entertaining 2-2 draw.
Graham Drury was dealt an early blow when striker Greg Smith was injured during the warm up and had to be replaced by Jordan Spruce prior to kick off.
United twice took the lead, as Josh McKenzie bagged himself a brace (23 & 66), however a header from Paul Malone (29) and scrambled finish from Troy Johnson (80) ensured that Corby Town ended their final away match with a hard earned point.
It has been a troubled season for Redditch, the team having secured just two league wins amongst a background of budget cuts, resignations and points deductions.
