Corby Town's new look squad report back to the Triangle tonight for their first pre-season training session.
Manager Graham Drury has had a busy summer bringing some old faces back to the club and snapping up some of the hot talent from the leagues below.
Tonight they will meet for the first time and Drury gave www.corbytownfc.co.uk a little insight into what they are letting themselves in for:
"The first session is just a gentle one for the lads, it's about familiarisation more than anything. They will come in and we'll be doing a series of tests, looking at their weight and fitness levels, analysing their lean muscle tissue and things like that.
"With that info we'll be able to see who has looked after themselves over the summer and come up with individual training plans for each player.
"We'll then take them on a distance run just to loosen the legs and then finish with some short, sharp, speed and agility work.
"On Saturday we'll do more fitness work and some technical drills. I'm all for the ball being at their feet as much as possible so we'll get those out early in pre-season and work around that.
"We're aiming to make pre-season something they can enjoy rather than endure and we want players looking forward to training and coming in with a smile on their face."
