Nick Rogan, scorer of the first goal at Steel Park, has agreed terms to sign for Corby Town.
The Blackpool-born striker has been on trial during the close season and netted the historic first goal of the 2-0 win over Notts County last Monday, before notching again at the weekend to celebrate his new deal in the 7-2 thumping of Stamford on Saturday.
The former Fleetwood front man started out at Morecambe and has had spells with Southport and Barrow prior to spending the last 18 months with Fleet.
Manager Graham Drury has also revealed that it is with a “heavy heart” that he has made the decision to release defender Joe Wilcox and attacker Karl Dimidh. The pair have been released as Drury continues to finalise his squad ahead of the new season.
We'll have reaction from Drury on Rogan's arrival and the pairs departure on Monday.
