The Rockingham Triangle training fields were being pounded throughout last week, as the Corby Town squad returned to work after the summer break on Wednesday and Saturday.
Runs, sprints, exercises, and even ball-work was the order of the day as the players re-grouped for what will be a demanding pre-season programme.
Graham Drury told www.corbytownfc.co.uk: "The first session was just a gentle one for the lads, it was about familiarisation more than anything. They came in and completed a series of tests, looking at their weight and fitness levels, analysing their lean muscle tissue and things like that.
"With that info we were able to see who has looked after themselves over the summer and come up with individual training plans for each player.
"We then took them on a distance run just to loosen the legs and then finished with some short, sharp, speed and agility work.
"On Saturday we did more fitness work and some technical drills. I'm all for the ball being at their feet as much as possible so we'll got those out early in pre-season and worked around that.
"We're aiming to make pre-season something they can enjoy rather than endure and we want players looking forward to training and coming in with a smile on their face."
Fans are reminded that there is still plenty of time to get your hands on a season ticket for next year. An Adult season ticket is £210 and a family of four can enjoy 2011/12 at the new stadium for just £380 - just over £17 a game for two adults and two children under-16. What's more you'll get a £215 voucher for a family portrait with Venture Photography completely free.
