Corby Town Football Club are pleased to announce that Rangers, the reigning Clydesdale Bank Premier League champions, will visit Steel Park on Tuesday 8th November 2011.
The showpiece friendly match forms part of the club's celebrations to open Steel Park and will see Rangers visit Corby for the third time since 2007, to officially commemorate the opening of the new stadium.
Graham Drury's side began the season in style on Saturday when they won 3-1 at Blue Square Bet North title favourites Halifax. They followed that up with a 6-1 win over Bishop's Stortford in the first competitive league fixture at their new home on Wednesday night.
Rangers have started their season with two wins from three matches and currently sit third in the SPL, with a game in hand on leaders Motherwell.
The match with Rangers is all ticket and tickets can only be purchased in advance from the club, or the Cube theatre in the town centre. Admission costs £11 for adults, £7 for concessions and £3 for Under-16s.
Tickets will go on sale from Wednesday 24th August and season ticket holders have until 5pm on Wednesday 7th September to reserve their seat, before they are released for general sale.
