Corby Town are pleased to announce they have extended their relationship with programme printers Regal Sports Press.
The company print and design publications for clubs in football, rugby, basketball and speedway. In the world of football they look after the match programmes of Peterborough United, MK Dons, Port Vale and Barnet in the Football League but their involvement with the Steelmen is the first of its kind for them in non-league circles.
Impressed by what they have seen at Steel Park so far this season Regal approached the club with a view to structuring a unique sponsorship deal which will see them become the club's programme sponsor, take out a programme advert and an advertising board at Steel Park. What's more they have agreed to a cash-back sponsorship scheme that will put further proceeds back into the club, should any businesses or organisations involved with the club, chose to appoint Regal to look after their print requirements.
Acting Chairman David Mallinger explained: "We're delighted with the way our commercial relationships are developing and Regal Sports Press are yet another company who can see value in partnering with the club and working together to achieve their business goals.
"We have been very impressed with the quality of the print product and together with the hard work of our dedicated volunteers, led by Kelly Cornwell, the programme has come on no end since the start of the season.
"That success, and this deal, have allowed us to move to a 40 page programme; one we believe is amongst the best in the division and a tremendous improvement in where the club was a year ago. We're looking forward to working with Regal closely in the future to make it even better."
Peter Davis, Sales Director for Regal Sports Press added: "The drive, enthusiasm, commitment and dedication of everyone associated with the club, made the decision to want to be part of Corby Town's future aspirations very straightforward for us.
"Committed as we are, to supporting both sporting and business institutions, who focus on building facility and opportunity for their local communities, has always been reflected in the sponsorship and investment choices we make.
"Therefore we look forward to working with the club, its business partners and being of service to the Corby community for many years to come."
The new look 40 page programme went on sale Saturday and has proved popular with supporters, the extra pages allow the club to provide greater coverage of the under-18 and under-19 youth sides, as well as the commercial activities at Steel Park.
