Corby Town can confirm they will head to The Vic Couzens Stadium to face Stamford AFC in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 2nd August (7.45pm).
The match will see a number of Corby Town players and staff return to their former employers.
In January 2008, manager Graham Drury swapped the Daniels for The Steelmen, along with a number of Stamford players.
Drury joined Stamford in May 2005 and made an immediate impact in his first season, leading them to promotion from the Southern League Eastern Division via the Play-Offs.
Another successful season followed, with Drury guiding his side to a Lincolnshire Senior Shield victory and an eighth place finish in the Southern League Premier Division.
Tall central defender Paul Malone also joined from Stamford at the end of last season, having spent two successful seasons with the Evo-Stik Division One South club.
