Corby Town are pleased to announce a deal that is the first of its kind for any non-league football club as JJB Sports will stock Steelmen merchandise in its Phoenix Parkway store. 

The national chain of over 200 sports stores have been doing their bit to make sure the Steelmen are shoulder to shoulder with some of the world's biggest clubs. In a deal that is the first of its kind for the sports equipment giant, their store in the town will now stock Corby replica kits, along side the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Rangers and Celtic.

David Naylor, Store Manager at JJB Sports in Corby said: “We are very proud to announce this truly ground breaking deal for both parties and begin the partnership with the Steelmen.

“JJB Sports are committed to our local community, and we are the first store to stock our local non-league club’s shirt. It is great to see the Corby Town shirts side by side with the country’s top clubs.

”Beginning sales on the night of the Steelmen's friendly with Rangers, which was also Steel Park's official opening, JJB has been pleased with the response and we're already looking into extending the range to cover hats, scarves and other merchandise in the future.

“There is a real buzz around Corby about the football club at the moment,” continued David. “Especially after the FA Cup run and strong start to the season, and if we can help to build on that and increase the profile in the town then that would be fantastic."
