After a long summer of hard work by a group of dedicated supporters, we are finally within touching distance of having the whole stadium ready to open for our first pre-season match on Monday 25th July, when we host Notts County.
However, all Corby Town supporters are being urged to please volunteer their Saturday morning to take part in one final working party.
A final clean-up of the entire stadium, inside and out, is required and the more supporters who help, the quicker we can get this finished.
Work undertaken has included a refurbishment of the Steelmen Social Club and attached corridor, improved toilet facilities, a brand new kitchen and catering facility, tidying up of the stadium, the moving of signage and sponsor boards plus much more.
Supporter Robbie Dunion told the club's official website: "We can see the light at the end of the tunnel, we just need one final push on Saturday to get everything ready.
"The work carried out by the supporters who have given up their time over the summer has been brilliant, and will really benefit the entire Corby Town fanbase. People will not recognise the place when they turn up for our first home game.
"I would like to thank everyone who has helped so far, and ask every Corby Town fan that is reading this to please come and help for a few hours on Saturday morning to make sure that we have everything finished to the highest possible standard.
"The fans have really taken to this project, with many I am sure relieved that it will all soon be finished," he added. "Especially those of us who are married and getting closer to divorce with each minute we spend at Corby Town."
Also any supporter who has donated money to the project, but has not paid, or who wishes to donate towards the project please contact Dan on 07850 474215.
Corby Town have received a positive response from applicants to the role of first-team manager.
