Corby Town defender Joe Wilcox has extended his stay at the club, after agreeing a deal for the upcoming Blue Square Bet North campaign.
Former Scunthorpe trainee Wilcox joined the Steelmen from Buxton last season, and impressed the Steelmen fans, featuring at right-back, central defence and right midfield.
Joe came through the junior ranks at Scunthorpe United and also had a brief spell at York City. He is the the son of Russ Wilcox, the Burnley and former Sheffield Wednesday assistant manager.
Manager Graham Drury told www.corbytownfc.co.uk; "There is a lot more to come from Joe and it's that potential that has attracted to us.
"Joe will be the first to admit he didn't do as well as he'd have liked when he first arrived but he had come to us after a miss-match of a season.
"He had been in and out at Buxton and then dropped down in standard but we'll get a good pre-season into him and with the competition that we'll have for players next season, if he can come through pre-season strongly, then he'll have a chance to make the shirt his own."
