Graham Drury has secured the services of Lee Windrum, who has signed a new deal at Corby Town.
Northern Irish goalkeeper Wildrum joined the Steelmen in March 2011. He is a product of the Lisburn Youth system and a former Northern Ireland Under-19 international who spent three years as a trainee with Hearts where he was understudy to Sunderland's Craig Gordon.
On returning to Northern Ireland, he had short spells with Crusaders and Carrick Rangers and then spent three seasons with Scottish Highland League side Cove Rangers whilst studying at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.
During his time with Cove, Windrum helped the club win the Highland League title on two occasions, 2007/08 and 2008/09 before joining Glenavon in August 2010.
Drury told www.corbytownfc.co.uk: "Lee did well last year and it's nice to have him back on board. We're looking to bring another goalkeeper in and give him competition for the shirt to push him harder.
"I'm looking to get two players in for every position by the start of pre-season and then it'll be down to the individuals to show me who wants it the most to get the shirt. There is a great opportunity for a number of players to stamp their authority and Lee is one we'll be looking to push this term."
Although the Early Bird discount period ended on 31st May there is still plenty of time to get your hands on a season ticket for next year. An Adult season ticket is £210 and a family of four can enjoy 2011/12 at the new stadium for just £380 - just over £17 a game for two adults and two children under-16. What's more you'll get a £215 voucher for a family portrait with Venture Photography completely free.
Corby Town have received a positive response from applicants to the role of first-team manager.
