Corby Town host high flying Long Buckby in the semi final of the Northants Hillier Senior Cup this evening at Steel Park.
The original fixture was scheduled to be played on Tuesday evening at Long Buckby's Station Road ground, however the tie was switched to the home of the Steelmen following floodlight problems.
The Bucks, managed by Glen Botterill, currently sit third in the ChromasSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division.
Long Buckby head into the match full of confidence following a 6-0 victory over Irchester United, with goals from Dan Quigley, Tom O'Brien, Rob Foster(2), Ben Wilson, Rus Dunkley.
The Northampton club have beaten Daventry United 4-0 and Wellingborough Town 3-2 so far in the Hillier Cup to reach the semi-finals stage.
Corby Town, who have beaten Daventry Town 4-0 and Peterborough Northern Star 2-1 so far in the competition will be eager to return to winning ways at Steel Park, having not won at the stadium on Jimmy Kane Way in 2012.
Striker Jordan Smith has scored three goals in two appearances so far in the Hillier Cup and will be looking to extend that impressive run against Long Buckby.
New additions Jordan Thewlis and Tom McGowan are both set to feature for the Steelmen, however defender Richard Jones is unavailable having featured for Peterborough Northern Star already this season in the competition.
