Ian Sampson’s Corby Town head to Evo-Stik Southern League side Bedford Town on Saturday afternoon, as they look to extend their unbeaten run during pre-season to five matches.
The Steelmen, who have beaten both Harborough Town and Northampton Town, have drawn their last two games 1-1 against Stoke City XI and Rugby Town respectively.
The Eagles head into the match on the back of three pre-season friendlies, having won one, drawn one and lost one. They kicked off their preperations for the 2012/13 season with a 2-2 draw away at Stotfold, before recording a 2-0 away win against Aylesbury. In their first home friendly last week, they were narrowly beaten by Blue Square Premier side Cambridge United.
