Corby Town travel to the Northolme on Saturday afternoon to face Gainsborough Trinity in the Blue Square Bet North.
Steve Housham's men have only tasted defeat three times so far this campaign and currently sit 11th in the table.
Since appointing Chris Plummer as manager, Corby Town have won three of their last four matches. A solitary defeat at Oxford City is the only smudge on the former PNS man's record and he will be eager to stretch that in Lincolnshire.
However, Plummer expects a much sterner test against Trinity and told Jon Dunham of the Northants Telegraph that his team must show the “belief” that they can pick up points against teams higher up in the table.
“It has gone okay since I have been in charge,” he said.
“But, with all due respect, the games we have won have been against teams in the lower half of the table and last weekend we beat a side from a lower level.
“We are in for a much sterner test at Gainsborough.
“They are in mid-table but we have to show the confidence and belief when we go to these clubs. We have to believe we can get results against them.
“We have had a look at Gainsborough and they will be big and physical. We will have to go there and deal with that.
“But if we can put our own game together then we will have a chance of picking up a positive result.”
