The Steelmen begin life post-Ian Sampson with a trip 271 miles north to face Workington at Borough Park.
Caretaker boss Chris Plummer will take his charges to Cumbria in search of their first points of the campaign, with Corby rooted to the foot of the Blue Square Bet North table having lost each of their opening five matches so far.
Workington, managed by Darren Edmondson, currently lie 10th in the table, having won three and lost three of their six fixtures to date. The side will head into the match against their Northamptonshire opponents in confident mood after back-to-back wins over Boston United and Vauxhall Motors.
The two sides could not be seperated back in April when they last met, as Corby let a 3-1 lead slip at Steel Park to draw 3-3. Corby's goals that afternoon were scored by Leon Hibbert, Gary King and Delroy Gordon.
In the corresponding fixture in 2011/12 Corby Town travelled home from Cumbria with a point, as they again allowed a lead to slip against Workington. Paul Malone had given Graham Drury's men an early lead before Lee Andrews levelled at the start of the second period for the hosts.
