Corby Town continued their preperations for the 2012/13 Blue Square Bet North season with a 1-1 draw against Evo Stik Southern League side Rugby Town.
The Steelmen failed to get going in the first half, with debutant Josh Moreman going closest early on.
The Steel Park side found themselves a goal down just after the break however, when Seb Lake Gaskin finished from close range for the hosts, following a well timed cross from the left.
This goal sparked Ian Sampson's men to life and Kariboni went close before Leon McKenzie saw his header cleared off the line.
The former Norwich City marksman was not to be denied though, and he did manage to get on the scoresheet minutes later, netting the rebound after Kariboni's effort was denied by a Rugby defender's body.
The match was a good workout for the Steelmen, who travel to Bedford Town on Saturday.
