Corby Town have received a bye to the Quarter Finals of the Northants Hillier Senior Cup.

The Steelmen, who were runners up in last season’s competition, have progressed past the first round without kicking a ball along with Cogenhoe United, Woodford United and Long Buckby, after they were chosen at random in the First Round Draw at Northants Football Association HQ.

Last season’s winners Brackley Town have been drawn at home to Daventry Town in the opening round.

The line-up for the first round ties, which are to be played on week commencing 1st October 2012 is;

Irchester United v Wellingborough Town

Brackley Town v Daventry Town

Corby Stewarts & Lloyds v Desborough Town

Kettering Town v Peterborough Northern Star
