Zak had been training five days a week after school and at weekends for the last few months in the run up to the Championships, and he and his father Dale have had to miss a quite a few games due to this, something they hope to put right over the coming weeks.
Zak fought fighters from Germany, Spain and England in his sections and did very well taking the gold medal in the -40kg light contact at under 13's level, and was also a member of the England team which won the team event to give Zak his second gold medal.
Stepping up in weight, he won 2 bronzes Medals in the -45kg sections rounding off a great weekend for the young Corby Fighter. Next year he has fights lined up in Germany and Northern Ireland and will hope to defend his Titles at the 2018 World Championships held in Manchester next October.
Well Done Zak Attack.....
