Andy Burgess
Andy is a cultured, experienced midfielder who re-signed for the Steelmen in May 2011 as a player/coach.
Burgess started his career at Rushden and Diamonds, going on to make over 200 appearances and gaining Conference and 3rd Division winner’s medals. He joined Oxford United in 2006, making over 50 appearances, before re-joining Rushden, adding another 70 appearances to his previous tally.
Andy signed for Luton Town in 2009, then had a spell on loan at Mansfield Town before signing permanently. Burgess has subsequently had brief spells at Chester, Fleetwood Town and Woking, as well as his first spell at Corby Town.
Burgess was capped eight times by England C.
