Robbie Dunion, Webmaster

Website Editor

Corby Town are pleased to announce further news regarding the club's media operation.
Final Third Sports Media were last week appointed by the club's new owners to oversee a complete review of all aspects of the club's communication strategy and following on from that, the Steelmen are pleased to announce that Robbie Dunion has agreed to become the club's new website editor.
Robbie has done a fantastic job in recent seasons to promote the good name of the club through his unofficial website and he has kindly agreed to donate the domain name, www.corbytownfc.co.uk for the club to use. This will shortly become the address for the official website and we would like to thank you in advance for your patience whilst things migrate over.
"We are delighted that Robbie has agreed to join us and are confident that he will, alongside guidance from Final Third, ensure we deliver the best possible service we can to supporters going forwards," explained director Graham Starmer.
"Having identified that the club's media and commercial operation were two areas that needed some immediate attention, we are pleased with the progress that has already been made already in such a short space of time.
"Work has begun on a number of exciting developments and we will be announcing more news about some new services we will be offering supporters in the coming weeks."

After Final Third Sports Media were appointed by the club's owners to oversee a complete review of all aspects of the club's communication strategy in 2011, the Steelmen quickly moved to pursuade Robbie Dunion to become the club's new website editor.

Robbie has done a fantastic job in recent seasons to promote the good name of the club through his unofficial website and he kindly agreed to donate the domain name, www.corbytownfc.co.uk for the club to use. This became the address for the official website at the end of the 2010/11 campaign.

"We are delighted that Robbie has agreed to join us and are confident that he will, alongside guidance from Final Third, ensure we deliver the best possible service we can to supporters going forwards," explained director Graham Starmer.

"Having identified that the club's media and commercial operation were two areas that needed some immediate attention, we are pleased with the progress that has already been made in such a short space of time.

Don't forget you can follow the Steelmen on Twitter and Facebook if you are not already doing so, both social network sites set up by Dunion for the club.

Dunion is a 23-year-old, Sports Business Management graduate from the renowned Carnegie sports faculty at Leeds Metropolitan University. He has supported the Steelmen since the age of 8, and is the son of former Corby Town manager Rob Dunion.

During his academic study, Robbie undertook a placement at Corby Town, as the club’s Commercial Manager under the late Peter Mallinger. This entailed raising both awareness of the club in the local community and increasing revenue streams. During his short spell with the club, he managed to secure substantial revenue, create new links within the community and help to uncover possible future revenue schemes; which have since been implemented, including the buy a brick scheme for the new stadium.
