“"he played ten games for Corby, scoring once".”
Lee Beeson was born in Boston on February 2nd 1990, so is now 27 years of age. He had a spell on the books of Grimsby Town as a schoolboy but returned 'home' to join the Boston United Centre of Excellence in 2005. He made his first team debut for Boston against Solihull Moors in a Blue Square North fixture in October, 2007 when still aged only 17 and went on to make 21 appearances for the Pilgrims - mainly as a substitute.
In February, 2009 Lee began a loan spell with Grantham Town and following his release from Boston he signed for Stamford in July, 2009. It was Graham Drury who brought Lee to Corby Town for the first time in November, 2011 and his first appearance was in a Steel Park friendly against Glasgow Rangers. Lee was cup-tied for the following weekend's F.A Cup First Round game away to Bristol Rovers and he made his competitive Steelmen debut in the number eleven shirt in a 5-2 home win over Droylesden.
In all he played ten games for Corby, scoring once in a 4-2 home defeat by FC Halifax Town, before joining Worksop Town on loan in January, 2012. Lee remained at Worksop for the rest of the 2011/12 season and in the summer of 2012 the move was made permanent.
In February 2013 he moved on to Spalding United and in 2013/14 scored 15 goals as the Tulips won the United Counties League championship. In the summer of 2014 Lee was one of several members of that successful Spalding side to join Holbeach United but in March, 2015 he returned to Spalding.
Lee signed for Grantham Town in the summer of 2015 but then began a second spell with Stamford in December, 2015. For a time in 2015/16 he was on dual registration with Stamford and Holbeach but he remained with Stamford until January, 2017 when he began his third spell with Spalding.
He appeared for Spalding in their 2-1 home win over Corby in the second game of the current season but has now returned to the Steelmen.
